Hooray, Hooray the sheep have arrived today, Friday 18 December Delamere went back in time 60 years with the introduction of the Delamere flock, we thought we were having some old rams but I couldn't see any but I did not want to get to close to inspect as I had my boots on and did not want anyone to get the wrong impression. A photograph of our sheep is below and they do not look to happy, I am sure one asked me in sheep lingo just what they were expected to eat and what time they get there corn . I think they should all be named. Suggestions behind the bar. Please show respect when picking names.

Saturday 19 December, the sheep not as jumpy but no sign of a shepherd, they had a nice block of ice to lick and looked cautiously at humans firing little white stones at them, today's picture a mixture of old and new members looking in disbelief, the sheep and the clubhouse.

Monday 21 December, the sheep still a little jumpy with a nice layer of snow on their backs, we broke the ice again but they seemed a little bemused, nobody trying to hit them with the white stones today, still waiting for some backup food.

Wednesday 23 December, sheep still looking cold, one of the brown faced ones looks a little lame, snow forecast for this evening.

Thursday 24, Christmas Eve, Cold, Foggy collected 2 golf balls unearthed by the sheep, brown faced one still limping, asked Karen if she would inform Philip as I assume these animals are his responsibility while at the golf course.

Friday 25th Christmas Day, snow over night, Larry still limping and not managing to keep up with the flock hence 8 sheep.

26th 27th sheep having to be fed, Larry the limper not improving, more cold weather to come. By special request a picture of Larry or Larrietta, I'm not quite sure below, see how the back leg is up.

Monday 4th January Larry the Limper getting worse, members must contact the Chairman of greens and lobby on Larries behalf, we all know what suffering bad feet bring. Anyone who doesn't know who the Chairman of greens is it is Philip Hemsted, give him a call.

Thursday 7th January Larry the limper not limping so bad today, Now settled in on the third rough.

Friday 16th January, Larry the limper and his flock do a runner, you can see the fence that they forced down to go in search of pastures new. They were last seen chasing the green staff around the course at just before dark heading in the direction of the 15th hole. Next Sunday they will have been in residence for one calendar month in which time they will have cropped as much grass as a green keeper could have cut with a strimmer in a couple of hours, when will we learn.

Sunday 17th January. No snow, happy sheep settled after there little bout of freedom.
